• What: Raising money for Puerto Rico Humanitarian Efforts
Puerto Rico – Wednesday September 20, 2017
Early that morning, Category 4 Hurricane Maria smashed Puerto Rico with sustained winds of 155 miles per hour. Direct landfall devastated the entire country of Puerto Rico. Bisecting the entire island and drenching it with feet of rain for 30 hours. What’s happened since has been truly catastrophic for Puerto Rico.
There’s still little power on the island. In many places, there’s still no water to drink or bathe in or to flush toilets. There’s limited food and cell service, and dozens of remote villages have been completely cut off from everything for weeks.
“Make no mistake — this is a humanitarian disaster involving 3.4 million US citizens,” Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló said the Monday after Maria hit.
“Help us. Without robust and consistent help we will die,” Carmen Yulín Cruz, the mayor of San Juan, said in a statement on October 12.
We need your help!
On Thursday, December 14th 2017 from 7-10pm, we’re holding a Gala to raise money for humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico.

- Red Rocks is donating the drinks, cocktails and appetizers.
- Ernie Perry of Perry’s Fine Jewelry is donating an exquisite piece of estate jewelry.
